VIVA – Jeep Wrangler is a car that is quite popular, because of its handsome appearance. The engine also has large torque, ideal for adventures in the wild.
The latest edition of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon which is present in Indonesia, is offered with a tag of Rp1.6 billion. Even though it was exorbitant, there were quite a lot of enthusiasts for this car and they were willing to queue for months.
The high consumer interest in the Jeep Wrangler made its competitors not want to miss taking advantage of the moment. As Mahindra did, the Indian car manufacturer has just launched the latest generation of Thar.
Quoted VIVA Automotive from Cartoq, Tuesday, August 18 2020, Mahindra Thar’s exterior is identical to the characteristics of a jeep, large tires and a slightly boxy shape.
This three-door car uses a round and line headlight design grille the distance is slightly tenuous, so that the air can cool the radiator at low speed to the maximum.
The taillights use a classic box design, as does the trunk door that opens it sideways. The spare tire behind the glass adds to the car’s image as a true jeep.
When juxtaposed with the Jeep Wrangler, Mahindra Thar looks similar. The only differences appear in the front grille, bumper and dimensions. The five-door edition Wrangler is one meter longer than the Mahindra Thar and wider and taller.
Meanwhile, at the rear of the two cars are almost identical. The spare tire and trunk opening lever look similar, as does the rear glass. However, Mahindra Thar prices start from 990 thousand Rupees, equivalent to Rp197 million. The official price is the difference of IDR 1.4 billion from the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
