After the current season, the world champion is calling it quits. That’s why Lukas Podolski invites you to an exclusive game at the RheinEnergieSTADION. ProSieben, Joyn and ran.de will show this very special evening for and with Lukas Podolski from his living room in Cologne on October 10th. Live. In prime time.
The game will be played by 1. FC Köln and Poldis 11. The now 39-year-old will play one half for both teams, which feature numerous prominent names.
There are a few included World champion from 2014. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer from FC Bayern Munich is at the start, as are Per Mertesacker, Christoph Kramer, Kevin Großkreutz, Erik Durm and Roman Weidenfeller.
But it’s not just players from the 2014 World Cup team. The then DFB coach Jogi Löw and his assistant coach Hansi Flick will also be there at the farewell game. You will each coach one of the two teams.
With a TV totally Poldi Spezial
The broadcast starts on Thursday, October 10th, at 7:45 p.m. with TV total! Sebastian Pufpaff will be taking over the warm-up program on this special evening – at an unusual broadcast time. In “TV total Poldi Spezial” Puffi prepares the football nation for the historic game.
The game kicks off at 8:45 p.m. Fans can watch the game on TV on ProSieben, or on joyn, ran.de and in the ran app.
