Vanlife is on the rise! And when you see these Instagram accounts, there is something to want to try.
More and more, vanlife appeals to travelers with its minimalist, free and itinerant lifestyle. This mini-house on wheels, which often contains the bare essentials (showers, toilets, kitchenette and bed), combines accommodation and mode of transport in one. And above all, it is the best way to go on road trips and discover whole countries, see continents, while having a limited impact on the planet (apart from gasoline). More and more vanlifeurs are on Instagram, invading our feeds with photos that make you dream and that make you want to adopt this new way of life. Most inspiring overview.
@divineontheroad
Sydney Ferbrache is a 25 year old young woman who has been traveling solo for over two years. Accompanied by her two bitches Ella and Pearl, she crisscrosses the four corners of the United States up and down, from Oregon to Mississippi, via Lake Tahoe, Colorado, Wisconsin or even Ioha. A follower of slow life and yoga, she shares her daily life in a van and her advice for traveling well when you are a woman alone and inspires us!
@desfenetressurlemonde
Originally from Marseille, Joanna and Eric are two architects by training who decided to leave everything in 2015 to travel across the Americas in their 1984 orange Volkswagen T3 Westfalia, from Alaska to Patagonia. In the meantime, they returned to France and decided to take a tour of Europe with another blue Volkswagen T2 from 1978. And they do not fail to share their road-trip through photos of landscapes that send dreams!
@waitandsea
Chrys and Alex, from @waitandsea, spent several months traveling South America in a van, making us discover Uruguay, Brazil, Patagonia and Chile through breathtaking photos, mixing mountains, lakes, glaciers, plains, deserts, forests, penguins, llamas and flamingos. Nothing like it to put a lot of eyes on it and want to give up everything to go traveling by van there too.
@samfaitvoyager
And the funniest vanlife instagram account title goes to Laura and Thibault, from @samfaitvoyager ! This couple is not taking the lead at all and always have a laugh when it comes to recounting their incredible adventures. On the program, a tour of Europe from Norway to Greece, via Scotland, Poland, Italy and Austria, and advice on the best European hikes and the best places to sleep.
@breizh_nomades
In the same genre, we find Karen and Corentin, from @breizh_nomades. Bretons pure stock who left with their van across Europe, with their cat Mia, found in passing. They amaze us with their photos of landscapes from countries like Slovenia, Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Denmark and even Germany.
@ envy.nomad
Never two without three. Louise and Julien, from the account @ envy.nomad, are also French people who have recently adopted vanlife. And they too went on a tour of Europe for a year. We particularly like the interior of their van, all in wood, with a decor as natural and simplistic as it is cozy! And of course, the breathtaking shots are in order and the ideas for spots and hikes too.
vansity.fr
More than tempted to adopt vanlife after seeing these accounts? All that remains is to buy a van and fit it out. And for that, we advise you to go to the account of vansity.fr. Lucile and Pierre-François, from @levanmigrateur are behind this account which not only lavishes van layout advice, but also contacts with craftsmen and designers and photos of van interiors styled from other vanlifers for inspiration.
