Regular immunization visits then begin at 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months of age, and include vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, and influenza, supplemented with hepatitis B and injectable polio doses, according to WHO recommendations.
He also said that at the age of 9 months, the child receives a booster dose of the oral polio vaccine, while a dose of the triple viral vaccine (measles, rubella, mumps) is given when it reaches year, and the same dose is given. repeated at the age of one and a half years, as well as a booster dose of the triple vaccine.
Mohammadi said that the child will have received most of the basic vaccines against viral and bacterial infections by the time he reaches 18 to 24 months, but there are additional vaccines that are less important, such as the rotavirus vaccine, which protects against viral gastroenteritis. , and the pneumococcal vaccine against the bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae The child starts receiving the smallpox, hepatitis A, and meningitis vaccine when he reaches one year of age.
He pointed out that the seasonal influenza vaccine is given to children starting at the age of 6 months. To protect against common flu viruses, emphasize the importance of sticking to the vaccination schedule to ensure complete protection for your children.
