Ming-Chi Kuo, analyst at TF International Securities, reveals features that will not be in the lineup iPhone 14. Anything?
According to Kuo, whose information about Apple is accurate, the 2022 iPhone will not be equipped with a camera with a periscope lens and a fingerprint sensor under the screen.

According to Kuo, the new flagship features on the iPhone 14 are the change of the notch to two punch holes for the front camera and Face ID sensor, a better main camera sensor, a thicker body, and a new system on a chip.
Despite mentioning the new SoC, Kuo previously also mentioned that only the iPhone 14 Pro variant got the A16 Bionic SoC. While the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will continue to use the A15.
Then the non-Pro variant, he said, still won’t use the ProMotion screen, aka a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The reason is that BOE, a supplier of iPhone display panels, could not fulfill orders from Apple.
Previously, Kuo mentioned that the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will carry a 48MP main camera, which makes the camera protrusion thicker and larger.
Kuo commented on the render from tipster Max Weinbach, which shows the rear camera module of the iPhone 14 Pro enlarged by 5%. The length is increased from 35.01mm to 36.73mm, and the height is increased from 36.24mm to 38.21mm.
Then the thickness increased from 3.6mm to 4.17mm. Kuo said the reason behind the iPhone 14 Pro’s bigger camera bulge is that the resolution of the rear camera has been increased to 48 MP. This is a significant improvement from the 12 MP camera on the iPhone 13 Pro.
Kuo added that the diagonal length of the contact image sensor (CIS) on the iPhone 14 Pro will increase by 25-35% thanks to the 48 MP camera. Likewise with the camera lens system whose height will increase by 5-10%.
