Organizers of the Digital Economy Awards have announced the finalists for this year’s awards. A total of 10 people and 14 companies are voting for the awards, which are divided into 6 categories, according to a statement from the organizers. In 2023 there was one more category: “Excellence in ICT Education” will not be awarded this year.
People are recognized in two categories. The “NextGen Hero” Award aims to honor a person between the ages of 20 and 28 who has a unique ability to help shape Switzerland’s digital future. And “The Pascal” is intended to honor a person who has made digital progress in Switzerland in the past year. The public vote for this year’s “Pascal” will last until November 8 Homepage for the award.

It’s amazing how even the distribution of finishers is across different industries. From public administration, to the insurance and healthcare sectors, to platform providers and players in the AI and robotics market, all relevant areas that come into contact with ICT services in Switzerland are represented, the statement says saying.
“And the quality of the latter is of the highest quality again. We are looking forward to an exciting gala evening! ” said Award Managing Director Carol Lechner and SwissICT Managing Director Christian Hunziker in the statement. This year the awards ceremony will take place on November 14 as part of a gala evening in Hallenstadion Zurich.
