From Thursday to Thursday, the country’s movie theaters offer a new delivery menu for movie lovers in their different genres and this time it’s the turn of “The Devil’s Call” and “Moonfall” to debut.

Its official synopsis reads: “In the fall of 1987, a group of friends from a small town have to survive a night in the house of a sinister couple after an accident that leads to their doors.”
It also addresses, according to the official trailer, that when Edith dies she leaves the group of young vandals in her will, granting each one a high amount of money, but to obtain it they must call a line that was buried with the deceased. From that, terror will invade their lives.

This 2020 film was directed by Timothy Woodward Jr. (also director of “The House of Demons”) and written by Patrick Stibbs. It has a well-known cast, especially in the case of Lin Shaye (The Night of the Demon), Erin Sanders (Zoey 101), Chester Rushing (The Demon Returns), as well as Tobin Bell and Sloan Morgan.
Moonfall
The trailer shows a trio of characters whose mission is to respond to the departure of Earth’s natural satellite from orbit.
An unknown force caused this terrible situation, so they must also discover what is behind it. Disaster seems imminent, but they will find an opportunity between the cracks. Perhaps the only way to save the Earth is precisely to save the Moon. This space adventure will lead them to solve the mystery that caused the possible apocalypse.
The official synopsis reads: “A mysterious force causes the moon to fall out of its orbit, threatening life on Planet Earth. Who will try to save us? Astronauts Jo Fowler and Brian Harper and an expert on conspiracy theories.”

But the cast is part of the most striking, as it stars Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring), Halle Berry (Catwoman), Michael Peña (Ant-Man and the Wasp) and others.
In addition to the cast, international critics welcome the delivery of Roland Emmerich, as he is already considered an “expert” in catastrophic plots. This will then be another hook for delivery.
