These are the winners – VG


FAMILY DRAMA: “Succession” won the award for best drama series.

The drama series “Succession” is among the winners of this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

This year’s Golden Globe ceremony was a toned down affair.

The distribution to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) took place without being broadcast on television, as NBC has withdrawn from the collaboration.

Nor was there a red carpet, a host, the press present or any kind of live video. The winners were announced in the organization’s social media channels and websites.

Beste dramafilm: «The Power of the Dog» (Netflix)

The Western film “The Power of the Dog”, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, received the coveted award for best drama film.

French actor Omar Sy was also nominated for his role in the Netflix series Lupine.

Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series: O Yeong-su

“Squid Game” actor O Yeong-su walked away with the victory in this category. He is the first South Korean actor to win the prestigious trophy.

The Korean Netflix success was nominated for three TV and film awards in this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Yeong-su, known as “The Old Man” in the series, won over Kieran Culkin, who plays the youngest son in “Succession”, as well as Brett Goldstein from “Ted Lasso” and both Billy Cydrup and Mark Duplass for “The Morning Show ».
