This year’s Golden Globe ceremony was a toned down affair.

The distribution to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) took place without being broadcast on television, as NBC has withdrawn from the collaboration.

Nor was there a red carpet, a host, the press present or any kind of live video. The winners were announced in the organization’s social media channels and websites.

Here is a selection of the winners.

Beste dramafilm: «The Power of the Dog» (Netflix)

The Western film “The Power of the Dog”, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, received the coveted award for best drama film.

The nominees: “Belfast” (Focus Features), “Coda” (Apple TV +), “Dune” (Warner Bros.), “King Richard” (Warner Bros.).

Best Movie – Musical or Comedy: “West Side Story”

Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” won big: best comedy or musical film.

Best Drama Series: “Succession”

The nominees: “Lupine” (Netflix), “The Morning Show” (Apple TV Plus), “Pose” (FX) and “Squid Game” (Netflix).

Best Actor in a Drama Series: Jeremy Strong

Strong received the award for his role as Kendall Roy, the rich, spoiled and very troubled second eldest son in the HBO series “Succession”.

Strong danced out, among others, Brian Cox, who was also nominated for his role as dad Logan Roy in the same series.

French actor Omar Sy was also nominated for his role in the Netflix series Lupine.

Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series: O Yeong-su

“Squid Game” actor O Yeong-su walked away with the victory in this category. He is the first South Korean actor to win the prestigious trophy.

The Korean Netflix success was nominated for three TV and film awards in this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Yeong-su, known as “The Old Man” in the series, won over Kieran Culkin, who plays the youngest son in “Succession”, as well as Brett Goldstein from “Ted Lasso” and both Billy Cydrup and Mark Duplass for “The Morning Show ».

Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series: Sarah Snook

Another award for the “Succession” team, here led by Sarah Snook. The Australian actor plays Shiobhan Roy in the HBO series.

The nominees: Andie MacDowell from the Netflix series “Maid”, Jennifer Coolidge from “White Lotus”, Kaitlyn Dever from “Dopesick”, and Hannah Waddingham from “Ted Lasso”.

Best Actress in a Miniseries: Kate Winslet

The British actress Winslet received an award for her role in “Mare Of Easttown”.
