Düsseldorf Four game days have only been played since the last international break. Which clubs did particularly well during this time? We looked at it once.
Only seven match days have been played in the new season in the Bundesliga – and for the second time, the coaches have to assign their players to a national team period. After the last break, just four games were played in the league. But which clubs were really able to convince in such a short time?

It is clear that FC Bayern have to deliver after every international break, but this September was the Bayern month par excellence. Three league wins, two in the Champions League, offensive spectacle against Barcelona, Bochum and Kiev, 22 goals in five games. But the defeat in Frankfurt destroyed the picture. But it can also be an extra motivation to show a top performance in the top game against Leverkusen.

BVB, on the other hand, was also successful, but it was much more difficult. The narrow victories in Leverkusen and Istanbul were followed by a spectacular goal against Union. Without Haaland, Dortmund had no chance in the Borussia duel and also had problems against Sporting Lisbon and Augsburg. In the end, however, they achieved two close victories. Next, Reus and Co. will receive Mainz 05 and then the Champions League will go to Amsterdam. Two mandatory victories, which is much easier said than done.

Meanwhile, SC Freiburg plays like SC Freiburg always plays: inconspicuously – but successfully. The Breisgauer are unbeaten in fourth place in the table. After the international break, they scored eight points from four games and only conceded two goals. The next games against Leipzig and Wolfsburg may be just right, as both teams have recently stumbled.
