These are the system requirements for Halo Infinite on PC

And they are not directly spartan.

A couple of days ago we got find out to Halo Infinite will be released for both Xbox Series X / S and PC on December 8. Thanks to the game Steam page we now also know what you will need in the jar if you want to enjoy it on the computer. And yes, the game seems to require a lot under the hood.

Minimum

Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
Processor: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4440
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 50 GB available space

Recommended

Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 19H2 x64
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Grafik: Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 50 GB available space

The minimum requirements look quite tame, but the recommended ones are much more biting, especially on the processor front – on the other hand, we do not know what resolution and fps you are expected to get with this hardware.

343 Industries also points out that Halo Infinite is “built for PC”, with advanced graphics settings, support for ultrawide / super ultrawide screens, dynamic upscaling and variable screen update. In short, it should be “the best Halo experience on PC so far”.
