These are the San Francisco locations seen on It’s Glowtime – Faq-mac

The city of San Francisco provided the backdrop for the It’s Glowtime event, with many of the presenters speaking in front of its magnificent landmarks.

Collected by Leander Kahney From Cultofmac, here’s a rundown of the SF locations that appeared.

Crissy Field — Jeff Williams

Apple COO Jeff Williams kicked off the It’s Glowtime event by presenting a segment on the Apple Watch Series 10 from the grass at Crissy FieldThe decommissioned airfield now serves as a spacious public park at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Observation Tower of the De Young Museum – Dr. Sumbul Ahmad Desai

Dr. Sumbul Ahmad Desai, Apple’s vice president of Health, appeared within the Hamon Observation Tower at the de Young MuseumSan Francisco’s largest art museum is located in the middle of Golden Gate Park. And the observation tower offers a great 360-degree view of the sprawling recreational area.

Golden Gate Overlook – Julz Arney

Julz Arney, Apple’s director of fitness technologies, stood in the Golden Gate Overlook for a segment on the Apple Watch. As the name suggests, the location overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge (out of shot to the right). In the background, you can see the Sea Cliff neighborhood. (The late comedian Robin Williams used to live there.)

Parque Golden Gate — Stan Ng

The eastern end of Golden Gate Park provided the backdrop for Stan Ng’s segment on the Apple Watch Ultrawhich comes in a new titanium black color. Apple’s vice president of Apple Watch and health product marketing appears to be standing in Hippie Hillwhich sees thousands of hippies smoking cannabis on 4/20 every year.

Coit Tower — Kate Bergeron

Kate Bergeron, Apple’s vice president of hardware engineering, stands atop Coit Tower during a segment of the It’s Glowtime event.

Coit Tower The tower provided the backdrop for Kate Bergeron, Apple’s vice president of hardware engineering. The tower, which resembles the nozzle of a fire hose, pays tribute to the city’s firefighters. It offers excellent 360-degree views of the northern part of the city.

De Young Museum Sculpture Garden — Kaiann Drance

At the opposite end of the museum, Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of iPhone product marketing, was in the Sculpture Garden. It is often filled with tables and chairs from the museum’s cafe.

Palace of Fine Arts — Craig Federighi

He Palace of Fine Arts in the city’s Marina District appeared as a backdrop for the segment hosted by Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering. The Palace of Fine Arts was built for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915It was meant to be a temporary structure, and much of it has been demolished, but a beautiful atrium remains, surrounded by a popular park and duck pond.
