Bottom light SC Paderborn is one of the noblest in the Park Hotel in the neighboring spa town of Bad Lippspringe. Co-promoters Union Berlin spend the days until the planned re-start against FC Bayern in a similarly idyllic setting: The four-star Hotel Fuchsbachtal near Hanover, which belongs to the Barsinghausen sports school, serves as accommodation for the Iron.
In the best city location, city rivals Hertha BSC have since relegated: The “Hotel Palace” on Ku’damm, awarded four and a half stars, is celebrating its comeback, so to speak, as Hertha headquarters. Under Jürgen Klinsmann the capital city club had resided in the “Titanic” for a short time as well as symbolically. In the “Hotel Palace” the team now even uses its own newly created entrance to avoid any contact with the outside world.
Various other clubs such as Augsburg, Dortmund or Werder move into their usual team hotel on site in the current exceptional situation. The professionals from Schalke 04, TSG Hoffenheim and Borussia Mönchengladbach, who are each accommodated in the hotels on the training or club grounds, enjoy the advantage of very short distances between temporary residence and work place. Also in Wolfsburg the “Ritz Carlton” is only a stone’s throw away from the VW arena. The highlight: The “Ritz” could soon even accommodate the respective Wolfsburg visiting team without contact between the teams or other business travelers.

1.FC Köln is withdrawing to a place that knows a lot of hustle and bustle: The “Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt” in the city forms the Hofburg of the Cologne triumvirate during the carnival season. FC coach Markus Gisdol is now holding his team meetings in the ballroom. Curiosity at Frankfurt Eintracht: The team around coach Adi Hütter moves to the “Lindner Hotel & Residence Main Plaza” in the Sachsenhausen district. Sports director Fredi Bobic has also lived in an apartment in the “Lindner” since taking office in which his predecessor Heribert Bruchhagen also lived. Boss Bobic can keep an eye on his protégés around the clock from his own “home office” …
