(CRHoy.com) The National Commission for Vaccination and Epidemiology (CNVE) indicated that immunosuppressed people are included within the population to be vaccinated with a third dose against COVID-19 in 2022.
This as part of the 2.5 million dose contract currently being negotiated with the Pfizer company.
In this way, 1 million of these COVID-19 vaccines will be distributed in order to deliver a third dose to:
- Immunosuppressed people
- Over 58 years old
- First responders.
Likewise, within this negotiation, 1.5 million doses will be for the pediatric population aged 2 to 12 years, to which will be placed two doses per person, since the vaccine is still in development
Taking into account the new scientific evidence, the CNVE the list of pathologies included will work in the immunodeficient population who will receive the third dose against COVID-19 next year.
