National coaches Jesse Mahieu (Jong Oranje Men) and Kai de Jager (Jong Oranje Dames) have announced their training groups. They both chose a group of 28 names. The teams are preparing for the World Cup to be played in 2025.
The men will play their World Cup in India in December of that year. The location of the women is not yet known. For them, the tournament will be completed either in July or December. For the first time, 24 teams are participating in the global tournament, compared to sixteen previously.
The Dutch Juniors won a silver medal at the European Championships last summer. The Dutch Juniors became world champions in December and added the European title in July. The selections of the O18 and O16 youth were also announced earlier.
