As part of its latest proposal, the government of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki assumes that pensions in Poland should be paid without tax. In Novi Lada, a proposal to increase the tax-free amount was also adopted. See how much tax-free pensions would be now,
As part of the Polish Deal the tax system is to be changed. The new tax-free amount is to be PLN 30,000. This means that 65% of retirees and people with the lowest wages will be exempt from tax.
Pension tax is not to be collected up to the gross amount of PLN 2,500. For seniors with the lowest pensions, this means more money in their pockets.
