These are the free PS Plus Essential games of November 2022

It’s the end of the month again and it’s a great time for PS Plus subscribers. Sony has announced free games for November 2022 and we can’t wait! The games will be available on Tuesday, November 1st, but we’ll be looking into them right away.

In November, PS Plus subscribers can enjoy the following free PS Plus Essential games:

Nioh games are known for their difficulty. In Nioh 2, you must master the samurai skills of a half human. As a Yokai fighter you face competitive fighters and huge monster bosses. You have a large arsenal of weapons, skills and special abilities at your disposal and you will need them too! The game is made by Team Ninja, so a good listener knows enough: your skills will be tested to the limit!

You create your character and you can customize it to a large extent in the character editor. The storyline is much stronger than the first part, which was previously available as a PS Plus game. The battles are epic and the enemies can release so-called Soul Cores. This allows you to master the abilities of your enemies and use them against them. However, if you die, you also lose your Soul Cores, so it has become much more important to stay alive.

Nioh 2 is extremely large and customizable, allowing you to customize your character, weapons and gear to suit your play style. The game takes attention and time to master all the mechanics, but it’s worth it. Our Theo therefore gave the game a decent 8 in his review of him, where he mainly noted that the game is extremely large, challenging and varied, but also sometimes too difficult.

PS Plus subscribers will receive two versions of the game: Nioh 2 for PS4 and Nioh 2 Remastered for PS5.

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection is of a completely different caliber. This game is a real LEGO game as we have known it for years, but with the Harry Potter movies and books as source material. The Collection actually consists of two games, covering years 1-4 and 5-7 respectively. From the initial Hogwarts invitation to the final showdown with He-Who-Who-Not-Named and everything in between, it all comes together in this LEGO game, mixing exciting and fun moments.

Of course, the game is full of typical LEGO humor, which makes it suitable for non-Harry Potter fans as well. LEGO Harry Potter offers countless hours of fun that can also be played in cooperative mode (both locally and online).

In his review, Luuc was fascinated by the humor, music and gameplay of Harry Potter LEGO, but found the spell a little difficult. He rated the game with a fair score of 7.0.

In this 2pt Interactive game, the player is challenged to take on the role of an astronaut who has to perform various tasks in zero gravity in a spaceship. To do this, he controls both his left and right arms and tries to move through a weightless space. By moving the left and right stick you can push, pull and move. The game has some controls a bit like the hilarious Octodad, but in 2D. We’ve never reviewed Heavenly Bodies on XGN, so we’d love to hear what you think. Octodad’s gameplay makes us very curious!

Heavenly Bodies can also be played cooperatively, both locally and online.

Both Nioh 2, LEGO Harry Potter and Heavenly Bodies will arrive in the store on Tuesday 2nd November. Don’t forget to claim games, even if you don’t have a PS4 or PS5 yet. The games remain yours as long as your PS Plus subscription is active.
