This November 6 51 years of the death of Agustin Lara are commemorated, one of the most outstanding composers in the music industry in Mexico.
To remember this, we do a count of the five most listened to songs of “El Flaco de Oro”, as the artist is known, on the Spotify platform.
“Only one time”
This topic it premiered in 1955 and ranks as the composer’s most reproduced. One of the best known versions is the one released by Luis Miguel, in 2008.
“Maria Bonita”
Its launch was in 1946 and was written for the actress María Félix, with whom he was married from 1945 to 1948. This composition was made at a time when both were fighting to reconcile.
“Love of my loves”
It premiered in 1953, in the voice of the singer Pedro Infante, of whom is one of the best known versions today. While the most recent was Natalia Lafourcade.
