These are the candidates of Wie is de Mol? season 25

Bridget Maasland, Gabriël Martina, Maaike Martens, Nora Akachar, Ray Klaassens, Roos Moggré, Sam Hagens, Sophie Frankenmolen, Stijn de Vries and Teun Luijkx are the candidates in the 25th season of Wie is de Mol?. Presenter Rik van de Westelaken travels with them to Cambodia, a country full of age-old traditions and hidden stories. The blood-curdling search for the Mole starts immediately in the capital Phnom Penh. Who can be trusted? And who isn’t? One thing is certain: this season starts with an unexpected twist that even de Mol faces a huge challenge.

A traditional Buddhist blessing at the start of the journey brings the candidates protection and good luck for the adventure that awaits them. Something that not only the candidates, but also De Mol, may need more than ever this season… After the first days in Phnom Penh, the trip goes to Siem Reap, known for its picturesque stilt villages and the world-famous temple complex Angkor Wat. In this breathtaking setting, the candidates do everything they can to earn money for the pot, while De Mol tries to thwart them in silence. The final stop on this impressive journey is the southern Kampot region, with its centuries-old salt and pepper fields. Will the candidates succeed in unmasking De Mol? Or is De Mol ruthless this season and the candidates have been misled to the bitter end?

Rik van de Westelaken: “I think this season may be the most nerve-wracking season of my Wie is de Mol? career. Because we immediately start with a plot twist – which has far-reaching consequences for the Mole. That makes me really excited to share this 25th season with the Netherlands. Because… we’ve never done this before.”
