In the Switzerland A split in the HR world has been observed for a long time: international on the one hand large corporations and innovatively positioned SMEs that afford a busy, digital-savvy and data-driven human resources department. On the other hand, companies that are also financially successful on the road, where the HR work is done on the side at most. The heads of these companies never came up with the idea of appointing HR managers to the management. Personnel work and the responsible department seem too incidental, too easy to replace, too little decisive for success. The price that companies pay for such neglect will, in my opinion, be severe.
