Which German cities are the most attractive for starting a family? And which cities offer the largest range of family-oriented leisure activities with affordable living space and acceptable living costs?
The moving platform Movinga is now answering these questions in a study followed up. The study was carried out internationally and involves 16 factors. These combined should make a city a suitable place for families. These are the best cities for families in Germany:

# 10 Cologne
Cologne, a city of over a million people, is the most populous city in North Rhine-Westphalia and, although it cannot offer cheap rents, it does offer more leisure activities that are potentially attractive for families. Cologne made it to 31st place in the international ranking.

Leipzig is not only known for a constantly growing creative scene and a large cultural offer. The affordable rents also attract young families to the largest city in Saxony. Leipzig also outperforms the lower-ranked cities in terms of air quality.
