Mobile apps can use too much power or processor resources. A recent study listed what are the apps with higher energy consumption by 93% of smartphone users who use them daily.
The study “Secret Phone Killers” of the consulting firm pCloud analyzed 100 of the most popular apps and found which ones not only drain smartphone batteries the most, but also consume more memory and slow down the system.
According to the Infobae portal, the list of the 20 apps that consume the most battery is completed by Airbnb, BIGO Live, Instagram, Tinder, Bumble, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Zoom, YouTube, Booking.com, Amazon, Telegram, Grindr, Likke and LinkedIn .
The particularity of these 20 apps that distinguishes pCloud is that they all allow 11 functions to run in the background, such as access to the microphone, photos, contacts, location, camera and Wi-Fi, among others.

An average cell phone can have up to 64GB of built-in storage, and the operating system takes up roughly 10GB. The consultancy also analyzed the amount of space that apps require.
