JAKARTA Russia invaded Ukraine under the pretext of special military operations since February 24. Many countries criticize, but there are four countries that support Moscow.

As a result of its invasion, Russia was sanctioned by many countries.

Meanwhile, some of Russia’s supporters view its invasion of Ukraine as provocation by Western countries. Among the supporting countries are known to be Moscow allies.

Quote from Yahoo News!Thursday (10/3/2022), here are four countries in the world that supported Russia’s invasion of Ukraine:

1. Belarus

Belarus became the first country to support the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The country is known as Moscow’s main ally.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has previously agreed with Putin over concerns about Ukraine’s proximity to Western countries and NATO.

For its support for Moscow, Minsk did not escape international sanctions from a number of countries. One of them was South Korea, which decided to review its export control policy towards Belarus.

2. North Korea
