For one thing, there are brands like Apple that don’t even include a charger with their phones. And on the other, those who not only include it, but also provide to their terminals awesome fast charging systems, which completely change the experience when charging our devices.

2020 has been a particularly good year in the field of fast charging technologies, with systems reaching or exceeding 100W of power, and which have already started to be applied in devices available on the market.

To put this data into perspective, from AndroidAuthority, they developed a list consisting of mobiles that recharge their batteries faster of all those published throughout this year. A list which, moreover, to this day still has a clear winner.

OnePlus terminals are among the fastest chargers on the market.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, the fastest charging mobile of 2020

Just need 21 minutes To charge your battery from 0 to 100, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is officially the fastest mobile recharge in the entire telephony market.

To achieve this, it relies on 120W fast charging technology developed by Xiaomi, which also supports a wireless charging 50W, one of the fastest we’ve seen to date.

In second position is the realme X50 Pro, whose 4200 mAh battery can be charged in just 33 minutes thanks to the SuperDart 65W system. This system is the same that integrates the OPPO Find X2 Pro, located in third position in this ranking to be able to fully recharge its batteries in 43 minutes.

Xiaomi is again in the top 5, placing its Mi 10 Pro in fourth position with 45 minutes charge. It is followed by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and its fast charge of 66W.

realme sneaks up the list, this time with its realme X3 SuperZoom, whose 33W fast charging system almost matches that of the OnePlus Nord as both models are capable of recharging in 56 and 57 minutes respectively. In just three more minutes, hitting a good hour, we would have recharged the OnePlus 8 Pro, three minutes apart from its younger brother, the OnePlus 8.

The third – and final – Xiaomi model that makes its way on this list is the POCO X3 NFC, on par with the OnePlus 8 and capable of outperforming a hundreds of dollars more expensive phone, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, as well as its Big brother the POCO F2 Pro.

In conclusion, two models from Samsung and one from Huawei: the Galaxy Note20, Galaxy S20 and Huawei P40 Pro, being the slowest to charge their batteries in 70, 71 and 74 minutes respectively.

Know more: Fast charging is always better than a good battery

While the data is undoubtedly interesting, we’re missing models like the OnePlus 8T with its 65W fast charging system – which would likely be close to the top positions – as well as the OPPO Find X2 Pro and the realme X50 Pro. .

In any case, it is clear that fast charging is no longer one of the open topics of major manufacturers, and has become one of the major points forts of some of the terminals available on the market. And not only in the high-end range, models like the POCO X3 NFC or the OnePlus North occupy positions very worthy of this ranking.
