These are RI’s 3 Largest Oil and Gas Producers

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia The world crude oil price is still showing a positive trend with the position still above US$ 70 per barrel. Although the last few days have been lower, it is still far from the conditions in the pandemic last year and continues to increase from the beginning of the year which was in the range of US$ 50 per barrel.

On Friday (16/07/2021) trading at 08:13 am, the price of Brent oil was recorded at US$ 73.48 per barrel, up 0.01% compared to the previous day’s closing position. Meanwhile, light sweet reached US$ 71.71 per barrel, up 0.08% from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the realization of gas lifting until June 2021 averaged 5,430 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) or 96.3% of this year’s target of 5,638 MMSCFD.

The total oil and gas lifting in the first semester of 2021 was recorded at an average of 1.64 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD), or 95.6% of the target of 1.71 million BOEPD.

This was stated by the Head of SKK Migas Dwi Soetjipto during a press conference, today, Friday (16/07/2021).

“Oil and gas lifting increased in June and July, but unfortunately it was low at the beginning of the year,” he said.
