According to the complainant, the fateful meeting occurred after a party where they coincided. After the event, the singer graciously offered them a place to rest at his house. However, what began as a supposed show of hospitality soon turned into a traumatic experience.

“When I was 19, I met Kalimba at a party with other friends. We ended up at her house after an after party and the next thing I remember was being asleep and feeling someone trying to penetrate me. I turned around, and it was Kalimba,” details the affected person.

The brave young woman tried to intervene and remove her friend from the situation, but her efforts were in vain. “I got up and tried to lift her up to get her out of there. But he pulled her. He closed the door and left me outside. I spent around two hours or more knocking on the door without getting them to open. The reason why she remained silent for so long, explains the complainant, lies in the fear of being questioned and unfairly singled out. “I have no intention of winning anything. I think I have kept quiet about it for too many years, eleven to be exact. I would like to see Kalimba take responsibility for her actions,” she states firmly.

“He continues to hide behind his religion so as not to show his face, he pretends to be a saint. He says it’s impossible for him to do something like that. I tell you: he does. Yes, it has happened to many people and it is time for him to pay the consequences.”

In addition, the complainant shared another video in which she describes the attempted rape while she was asleep. “I got up, put my shoes on and tried to take my friend away saying, ‘We have to go, let’s go.’ He asked us what was happening. “I was in shock,” she says.

“Finally, we managed to get out, and my friend told me that Kalimba had abused her once or twice, even twice. We left very scared, without understanding what had happened. I called my psychologist and my parents. I explained to them what happened and they helped me calm down,” concludes the complainant.

The events date back to December 2010, when the minor, Daiana Guzmán, accused him of rape. After his arrest in the United States, he was handed over to the Chetumal authorities to face the corresponding legal process. However, his stay in jail was brief, just seven days in January 2011, as a lack of sufficient evidence led to his release.

Shortly after, an ex-girlfriend of the artist, identified as Kimberly de Campa, made public statements about alleged sexual abuse committed by the “Se te olvidó” singer against her daughter, who at the time was only five years old. These accusations, although they had a great media impact, were never formally presented to the authorities.

Later, in an exclusive interview with “Ventaneando”, the young woman retracted her statements, confessing that her statements were the result of an impulsive reaction to her daughter’s comments.

After undergoing several therapy sessions and carefully monitoring her daughter’s situation, Kimberly came to the conclusion that the accusations were not true.

“Now with a cool head I can say that I know Kalimba and I know that he would be incapable of doing something like that,” he said. In addition, he mentioned that his daughter had been the subject of offensive comments at school, which could have influenced his statements.

In this context, De la Campa issued a public apology: “I honestly want to apologize. Now it is clear to me that what I said is not true. “I am going to move forward with my daughter, who is fine, and I am grateful for the care provided.”
