These are 21 banks whose transfer fees have fallen to only Rp. 2,500

Bank Indonesia officially launched BI-Fast Payment, where interbank transfer fees are cheaper. BI Governor Perry Warjiyo said that his party set Rp 2,500 per transaction at BI-Fast.

“We have set a low price scheme (BI-Fast), namely from Bank Indonesia to participants of Rp. 19 and from participants to customers of a maximum of Rp. 2,500 per transaction,” he said at the Virtual Launch of BI-Fast: National Retail Payment System Infrastructure, Tuesday. (21/12/2021).

Now, in the first phase of the launch, there are already 21 banks that are ready to provide BI-Fast services. The target is to increase again in early 2022.

“In the following stages, God willing, in the 4th week of January 2022, there will also be a relaunch. Bank Indonesia will continue to provide full support for prospective participants in preparing the people process and technology aspects so that they can immediately join the BI-Fast ecosystem,” he added.
