MEXICO CITY.
Starting this Monday the Mexico City will be at Semáforo Naranja, that is to say that some of the economic activities will resume 30 percent of its capacity and with strict sanitary measures, once the number of people hospitalized and intubated by coronavirus has remained stable.
Last Friday, the head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, announcedhe reopening plan for the next stage of the epidemiological traffic light, which includes the following activities.
June 29.
- Domestic Workers
- Retail Trade
- Sports Clubs and Individual Outdoor Sports Activities
June 30th.
- Historic Center with special program.
1st of July.
- Restaurants at 30 percent of capacity.
- Hotels at 30 percent of capacity.
July 2nd.
- Tianguis and markets on wheels.
3rd of July.
- Aesthetics, Hairdressers and Beauty Salons.
July 6th.
- Department stores at 30 percent of capacity.

For the return of activities, 10 basic rules to be followed by workers were also disclosed.
- Employees must use personal protective equipment, that is, face shields and a face shield, in addition to frequently washing their hands.
- There must be sanitary filters for the detection of symptoms and temperature taking at the entrance of personnel and clients.
- Maintain a distance of 1.5 meters between people.
- Place antibacterial gel dispensers and permanent disinfection of surfaces and common spaces.
- Use of natural ventilation.
- Mandatory registration of reactivation in https://covid19.cdmx.gob.mx/medidassanitarias.
- If there are more than 30 workers, the equivalent number of 5% of the employees must be carried out weekly.
- It is mandatory to inform Locatel about positive cases and people with whom you had contact in the workplace.
- Positive cases should be kept at home for 15 days, while suspects will do so until they receive a negative diagnosis.
- No one can be fired for their Covid-19 status.
