In recent years, Samsung has continued to improve, especially in terms of software updates or the Android operating system on their flagship cellphones. In 2020, Samsung finally decided to provide Android OS updates for up to three years for not only flagship phones – both from the Galaxy S Series or Fold Series lines – but also for tablets and cheaper lines like the Galaxy A Series.
For those of you who are interested in Samsung’s move and are also looking for a Samsung cellphone, here are some of the best ones to buy!
1. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has the “crown” of Samsung’s best smartphone right now for a number of reasons. First, it is equipped with Snapdragon 888 – the most powerful flagship chipset from Qualcomm accompanied by 12/16GB RAM, 128/256/512GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery.
This smartphone has a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with many features such as a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus, HDR10+, in-display fingerprint and S Pen support (a first in the Galaxy S Series). Finally, accompanying the 108MP main camera, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is also equipped with two telephoto cameras with 3x and 10x zoom capabilities.

2. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Although not a “fresh” cellphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is still very feasible to use in 2021. This cellphone is powered by Snapdragon 865+ (not as powerful as Snapdragon 888 but supports 5G), 12GB RAM, 128/256/512GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery.
Just like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, it has a QHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, but with a slightly larger size of 6.9 inches. When compared to the previous series, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a more responsive S Pen with reduced latency to 9ms.

3. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is designed to bring the specifications and many features of the Galaxy S20 for a lower price. This cellphone relies on the Snapdragon 865 as the main runway assisted by 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery.
The screen has an AMOLED panel with a size of 6.5 inches, FHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling animations. Although this HP telephoto camera is not as sharp as the main camera, it has been equipped with the Space Zoom feature for zoom that doesn’t break when you want to take pictures.

Samsung clearly learned from the mistakes of the Galaxy Fold in the past until it was finally able to make the Galaxy Z Fold 2 which was more mature overall. Not only are the two screens larger (7.6 inches and 6.2 inches), but the hinges from this cellphone have also been redesigned for better durability.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 itself is armed with Snapdragon 865+ along with 12GB RAM, 256/512GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery. This cellphone has a total of five cameras with three on the back, each with a 12MP resolution and two on the front, both of which have a 10MP resolution.

5. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is not the only folding cellphone from Samsung because there is the Galaxy Z Flip which is a much simpler folding mechanism. This cellphone only has one 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen but can be folded in half like an old-school folding cellphone.
Although it has a more compact size, the Galaxy Z Flip is still equipped with qualified specifications such as Snapdragon 855+, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 3,300mAh battery. Just like the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Z Flip also supports Flex Mode which allows separate multitasking between the top and bottom of the screen.

6. Samsung Galaxy A52 5G
The current mid-range line of Samsung’s cellphones is led by the Galaxy A52 5G, which even though it’s cheaper than the flagship, it still has some cool features to be proud of. Some of them are 5G connectivity support because it is powered by Snapdragon 750G, a 6.5-inch FHD + AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
The 8nm chipset that the Galaxy A52 5G brings is supported by 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery. Not to be outdone, the 64MP main camera from HP also has the best camera quality in its class.

7. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is still a mid-range cellphone worth buying in 2021, especially through its 5G connectivity support. Released in June 2020, the Galaxy A71 5G is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that supports an in-screen fingerprint sensor and specifications such as Exynos 980, 6/8GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery.
In terms of specifications, this cellphone is still fairly solid in terms of performance, just for multitasking to heavy tasks like playing games. This HP camera is also quite good with camera specifications that are broadly the same as the Galaxy A52 5G.
That was a review of some of the best cellphones from Samsung that promise three years of updating the Android operating system. Apart from HP, Samsung also promises similar updates for some of their flagship tablets such as the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Galaxy Tab S6 5G/4G, Galaxy Tab S7 5G and Galaxy Tab S7+.
