Redmi supported by Xiaomi is already preparing to launch its brand new Redmi Note 12 series smartphone in the Indian market. Yup! The device will be launched on January 5, 2023 and includes three devices, namely Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
Interestingly, before the official launch of the three smartphones, Redmi started teasing some of the main features and specifications incorporated into the device, and this time Redmi revealed the camera details of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.
Yup! The teaser shared by Redmi confirms that the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G will come with triple cameras on the back, where the main camera is 50MP using Sony IMX766 sensor. There is also support for optical image stabilization (OIS).
Meanwhile, Redmi officials in India also say the smartphone’s main camera sensor will help “capture dynamic and attractive images through the perfect combination of software and hardware.”
Redmi also claims that this Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G will be one of the best in its segment in terms of color reproduction. Earlier, Redmi confirmed that this device would feature an AMOLED screen and support a refresh rate of 30Hz to 120Hz.
As this smartphone was previously launched in China, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G will have a 6.67-inch central punch-hole OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, brightness level peak of 900 nits and HDR10+.
The Chinese version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. This smartphone also has a graphene cooling system measuring 2,000mm². There’s also support for an X-axis linear vibration motor and dual stereo speakers.
This smartphone also supports a 3.5mm headphone jack and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor is integrated with the power button. Meanwhile, the camera department has a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front is a 16MP camera.
