In fact, it is priced between 500 and 700 euros, but for a specimen preserved in perfect condition you can also spend a sum of one thousand euros.

As for the 1000 lire banknotes, both with Maria Montessori and with Marco Polo, there are some vintages that are still worth a lot today. It is estimated that the uncirculated value is around 220 euros.
The banknotes with the Montessori representation and the serial number starting with X can also be worth more than 100 euros. While in the other cases the banknotes of this denomination have an estimated value between 3 and 5 euros.
