As part of its home energy renovation mission, Chartres Métropole is relaunching its program of thermographic walks, which was interrupted last winter due to Covid.
The premieres took place on December 2, 7 and 9, 2021, in Challet, Theuville and Umpeau. During the first meeting, in Challet, Chloé Gardais, energy mission referent, welcomed around fifteen residents of the town.
Other thermal walks followed: Tuesday December 14 in Fresnay-le-Comte and Thursday December 16 in Saint-Léger-des-Aubées.
Energy renovation: meetings and training with Chartres Métropole
After presenting them with Chartres Rénov’Habitat, the territorial energy renovation platform dedicated to the inhabitants of the 66 municipalities of Chartres Métropole, Chloé Gardais guided a journey through the municipality.
Thermal camera in hand, it highlighted the insulation and airtightness defects exhibited by six houses in the town center. Back at the town hall, she explained what types of work could be envisaged, their average cost and the list of aid to which they could possibly claim.
