Theresa DeSantis of Apache Junction, Arizona, took Best of Show honors with her 1985 Peterbilt 359 and 2016 East trailer at the 40th Anniversary Shell Rotella® SuperRigs® competition held June 9-11 in Branson, Missouri. She won $10,000 from Shell Rotella. Additionally, Ms. DeSantis won the Steve Sturgess Best Theme award for her theme “The Witches Inn”. She had already won the Best of Show in 2019.

Truett Novosad of College Station, Texas won second place Best of Show and $4,000 from Shell Rotella for his 2007 Peterbilt 379 EXHD, Doc Holliday. While Dean DeSantis of Apache Junction, Arizona ended up in third place Best of Show pour son Peterbilt 389, Career Gambler 2018.

Among the highlights of the 40e anniversary included the truck lighting contest and fireworks, contestants’ dinner and truck parade through Branson Landing. There was entertainment and events throughout the three day event.
Other winners include:
- Todd Gribble of Somerset, Pennsylvania in the Tractor/Trailer division for his 2012 Peterbilt 389.
- Kaleb Hammett of Dodd City, Texas. in the Tractors Division with a 2019 Peterbilt 389
- David Foster of Joplin, Mo. won in the classic division with his 2005 Kenworth W900L.
Daniel and Phyllis Snow of Harrison, Ark. won the People’s Choice Award for their 1996 Freightliner Classic XL. The winner was selected virtually and voting took place online.
The competition Shell Rotella® SuperRigs®is the premier truck beauty pageant for actively working trucks. Owner-operator truckers from across the United States and Canada are vying for cash and prizes worth around $25,000. Twelve drivers have also been selected to have their trucks featured on the 2023 calendar of Shell Rotella® SuperRigs®.
All winning trucks from Shell Rotella® SuperRigs®will be displayed on the pages Facebook, Twitter et Instagram of Shell Rotella throughout the week.
