GenPI.co – There is good news for users WhatsApp.
The instant messaging platform is known to be preparing a feature that allows its users to send high-quality videos.
The new feature was discovered by WABetaInfo in WhatsApp beta version 2.21.14.6 for Android.

From the screenshot uploaded by WABetaInfo, users can set the quality of the video that will be sent via the ‘Storage and Data’ menu in the settings.
WhatsApp offers three options, namely Auto, Data saver, and Best quality.
Auto is the recommended automatic option and WhatsApp will detect the best compression algorithm for a particular video.
Meanwhile, the data saver is suitable for users who want to save internet quota and will compress videos to the most optimal level.
Finally, the Best quality option allows users to submit videos of the highest quality.
Previously, WhatsApp users could actually send videos and photos in high resolution, but they had to be sent in document form.

Through this feature, the process of sending high-quality videos will be much easier.
The feature, which only regulates video quality, not photos, is still in development, so it’s unknown when it will be released. (android police/rdo/jpnn)
