June will mark the emergence super moon last in 2021. The phenomenon which is also referred to as strawberry supermoon or the full moon Strawberries will visit Earth on June 24.

This year we are lucky enough to witness three supermoons. The first supermoon in 2021 will be in April, the second will be in May, and the next sight will be this month, June 24 to be exact.

What makes the June supermoon special? It’s rare for three supermoons to happen in one year, let alone three months in a row. This makes 2021 a very astronomical year.

The term is not widely accepted, especially among scientists. Specifically, a supermoon can be a full moon or a new moon, the distance from which is about 10% or less from the Earth’s orbit. When this phenomenon occurs, the Moon appears larger and brighter, even though the change in distance is only a few kilometers.

Phenomenon strawberry supermoon can be observed throughout the world, including Indonesia as long as the sky is clear. Like other full moons, the duration of the strawberry supermoon starts from the rising of the moon at sunset until the next day when the moon sets.
