Perez’s comments were made in his latest interview, which was reported by Sports world. The 74-year-old man criticized PSG, after previously Madrid failed to sign Kylian Mbappe last summer.
In the transfer market last summer, Madrid had wanted to bring Mbappe from PSG. Mbappe’s own contract will expire at the end of the season, so his chances of leaving are actually open.
Madrid came up with an offer of 160 million Euros, or the equivalent of Rp. 2.6 trillion. However, PSG flatly rejected him, which puts him at risk of losing Mbappe for free next year.

“I fought because it was the management who won, it’s not about the money they give you from outside. The time will come where the top 30 clubs in Europe will be owned by the state. It’s not the start of the European community. I came here to compete and compete from the start,” said Florentino Perez.
