The partnership between Luka Doncic y Josh Richardson point ways in Dallas. The Slovenian and the newcomer to Texas combined to score 50 points in the Mavericks’ second preseason game, who beat the Milwaukee Bucks 128-112 from a Giannis Antetokounmpo also inspired (24-14-4).

“I don’t see the Greek winning a third prize in a row”says another scout regarding a possible third consecutive MVP for Giannis Antetokounmpo. “I think we will see a season with Luka getting closer to the MVP level and doing more things individually.”.
A third Anteto MVP would be historic, as it is something they have only achieved in the past Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain y Larry Bird. The story, yes, could fall on Doncic’s side. The Slovenian would be 22 years old and would equal Derrick Rose as the youngest MVP of the competition if he lifts the award at the end of the season.
Doncic’s individual numbers last year were already MVP with 28.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game with 46.3% accuracy in field shots. The record of Dallas before the break (40-27) was what complicated the alirón to the Slovenian star with Giannis being part of the best team of the regular season.
