The 40-year-old Swede, who was sidelined with injury concerns in the spring, started on the sidelines and was not replaced. Now Milan coach Stefano Pioli explains why.
– I thought we needed other qualities (on the pitch), says Pioli according to Milannews.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has an expiring contract and nothing has yet been communicated about the Swede’s future career plans.
