In this weekend’s premiere of Melodifestivalen, Marie Serneholt made a grand comeback with the A-teens with whom she broke through in the 90s. It was then 20 years since the group was last on stage together.
Marie Serneholt, 40, has since been the presenter for both TV4’s “Bingolotto” and SVT’s “Helt magiskt” and Melodifestivalen. But since a few years ago, she shines instead with her absence from the television screen.
And she now tells us about the reason why she disappeared from the window.
– Since I became a mother, it has been very difficult to combine the two things, she says.
– I had twins five years ago, which have taken quite a large part of my time. Then I have tried to work with the things that have been possible to do. A lot of social media and conference assignments and such, she says during A-teen’s press conference in connection with Melodifestivalen.

But now she longs to return to life in front of the camera and hints that the comeback in Mello is not the last the viewers will see of Serneholt in the future.
– Now it’s starting to tug a little on that TV nerve again. I’m not quite done there I feel. And now I feel that it would be possible to combine it with life as a mother as well, she says.
Marie Serneholt has sons Philip and Nicholas with Fredric Palmqvist, 39.
