“The Hills” offered a lot of drama, high partying, plastic surgery, troubled relationships and every imaginable scandal a real reality series should contain.
This week, “The Hills” star Audrina Patridge (37) came out with a brand new book, “Choices: To the Hills and Back Again”, which comes with more revelations from behind the scenes of the TV show.
One of the things she writes about is how her friendship with “The Hills” colleague and former best friend Lauren Conrad (36) ended.

– Very controlling
“There are reasons why she and I are no longer friends, and there was a lot of turmoil between us that we couldn’t talk about during filming at the time,” she writes in the book, referenced in Too Fab.
Patridge and Conrad also had the same management, which also led to conflict between the duo.
The former felt that the reality colleague got many of the opportunities that were initially sent to her. Although she blamed the agents for this, it went beyond the friendship.
“I also found her to be very controlling of her friends. If you are in her circle, you must do and say what Lauren does and says. Otherwise, you’re on the outside,” continues Patridge.

Relationship with the ex
However, there was one thing in particular that Patridge could not forgive Conrad for.
Patridge had an on and off relationship with Justin Bobby Brescia (40) throughout the series. While the cameras were on, it seemed as if the best friend hated Brescia, however, the tone must have been different outside of working hours.
The author writes that Brescia must have met Conrad in Vegas, at a time when he and Patridge had broken up, and hooked up with his girlfriend.
“When I heard this, I felt so betrayed,” Patridge continued, adding that neither party has admitted the affair to her.
Didn’t warn the exes
In an exclusive interview with US Weekly just before the release of the new book, the former reality star made another revelation.
Patridge said she did not let any of her former flames know that she was divulging their love lives in the book.

– The book is not a revealing shock book. It’s not negative to anyone or revealing anyone’s secrets or anything. That’s not who I am and that’s not what I do. It’s just about me and my perspective and what I went through with each of these people. So when they read it, I don’t think any of them are going to be upset.
The first-time author describes, among other things, her flirtations with Leonardo DiCaprio (47) and Kevin Connolly (48) – as well as her relationship with Chris Pine (41).
– We liked each other very much. We talked and kept in touch for a bit after we broke up. I have nothing but fond memories of Chris. He was truly one of the most normal people I’ve ever met in LA,” she told the website.
