Yesterday it became clear that the European Parliament (EP) adopted a recommendation for the suspension of European funds for Bulgaria. GERB deputy Ivelina Vasileva stated that the rulers are trying to ignore the recommendation of the EP. The report recommends looking into whether in an environment such as that in Bulgaria, Euro funds can be absorbed. This is not a light slap, but a cruel slap on the part of Brussels. This is the money that can help Bulgaria develop better, so the government should not be so irresponsible about the problem. The cabinet must come to its senses, get to work and make contact with our European partners, emphasized Vasileva. According to her, the government should prepare a crisis plan to deal with the situation. According to Karadjova, the problem did not start from May last year. It is very easy to shift the blame, but the problem is cross-party and national unity is needed to solve it, she said.
