Mortal Kombat 11 was released two years ago and the developers Netherrealm have since added new fighters to the game via two Kombat Packs and a real story expansion. Now, however, it seems time to look ahead. In a statement on Twitter, Netherrealm writes briefly that after two years of working with Mortal Kombat 11, they will now focus wholeheartedly on the next project. What it’s all about is a bit unknown, but it would be a bit uncharacteristic if it was not about a fighting game of some kind.
