Who rang the doorbell in the last scene of “Home for Christmas”? You will get the answer soon. Netflix has released both teaser and release date for the second season of the series.
The premiere season of the Christmas series was a resounding success.
– What we can say is that it is the most watched Netflix series in Norway ever, said director Per-Olav Sørensen to VG in January.
Netflix has stated that “Home for Christmas” was the most put on the power service last year, both in total and among TV series, by their Norwegian customers.
Now comes the second season of the series. In the first season, we followed the single nurse who, after lying to her boyfriend to the family, dates through December to find a man to take home for Christmas.
But it was an abrupt and exciting end to the first season. In the last scene, a door opens in the middle of Christmas dinner, but the viewers are not allowed to see who is standing there.
December 18 comes the answer.
In the first season, Stian Blipp and Swedish Felix Sandmann participated. Whether they will be seen further is currently unknown.
But both Ida Elise Broch and Gabrielle Leithaug are in the second season.
– The response has been enormous. It has completely taken off with messages from people all over the world. The strangest thing is what is written in these messages from time to time. I laughed to death at a guy who had put his head on a line drawing where he was standing in a doorway, and thought it was him who was standing in the door, Broch, who plays Johanne, told VG in January.
Artist Gabrielle Leithaug had her acting debut in “Home for Christmas” as Johannes’ cohabitant.
Other famous faces will also be seen, including Oddgeir Thune, Edward Schultheiss, Dennis Storhøi and Anette Hoff.
