Wi-Fi 6 performance improves on devices that already feature FastConnect chips featuring Qualcomm Dual Band Simultaneous technology. It is also supported by Acer, AMD, Lenovo, Microsoft and Valve.
Basically, it’s not about improving transmission speeds, it’s about using multi-band technology at the same time, reducing response time and making wireless similar to a wired connection.
Such technology installed Windows 11 machines are able to use the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands in parallel, thus improving the user experience in response-sensitive games and software.
According to Qualcomm tests, compared to traditional Wi-Fi 6 solutions, the new technology promises not only a lower response time, but also a seamless experience. In addition to games, it can also be ideal for video calls and remote devices.
