1. Peak of the Monocerotid Meteor Shower
Meteor Rain This can be seen on December 9-10 from 19:40 local time until the next day at the end of dawn, about 25 minutes before sunset from East to West.

2. Chi-Orionid Meteor Shower Peak
This meteor shower occurs on December 10-11 and can be seen from the beginning of astronomical twilight, 50 minutes after sunset local time until the next day at the end of nautical dawn.
3. Phases of the Early New Moon
The peak of the initial new phase occurred on December 11 at 08.35 WIT/09.35 WITA/10/35 WIT.
4. Komet C/2021 A1 (Leonard)
On December 12, Comet Leonard’s schedule was recorded to pass close to Earth. The comet’s orbital period is 80,000 years and it moves retrogradely. This comet will pass near Earth with its closest distance as far as 0.233 astronomical units (sa) or 34,857,000 km.
5. Peak of the Sigma-Hybrid Meteor Shower
This meteor shower can be seen on December 12-13 starting at 21:15 local time until the next day at the end of the sea dawn, 25 minutes before sunset. The intensity of this meteor shower for Indonesia is around 2.9-3 meteors/hour from Sabang to Rote Island.
6. The Peak of the Geminid Meteor Shower
This meteor shower can be seen on December 14-15 from 20.30 local time until the next day at the end of the dawn of the sea from the Northeast to the Northwest. The intensity of this meteor shower for Indonesia ranges from 86 meteors/hour (Sabang) to 107 meteors/hour (Rote Island).
