Aguascalientes, Ags.-The Institute of Education of Aguascalientes (IEA) summons students who are in the last degree of upper secondary education in the entity or from other states, as well as students who have completed their high school studies in previous years and wish to enter higher education institutions in Aguascalientes, to present the National Entrance Exam for Higher Education EXANI II 2021.
In a statement it was highlighted that the calls are published in www.iea.gob.mx. Likewise, he announced that in the face of the health contingency due to COVID-19 and always prioritizing the health of the educational community, applicants will be able to choose whether they wish to present a face-to-face examination or an online examination from home.
This evaluation is for admission and an essential requirement to apply to higher education institutions in the entity.
For his part, José Antonio Pérez López, head of the IEA Evaluation Subdirectorate, explained that according to the calls, regular students must pre-register from January 25 to February 19; The educational authorities of each baccalaureate will provide students with their CLAVE-IEA to print the payment slip from www.iea.gob.mx.
He added that stragglers and foreigners must enter the IEA website from February 20 to March 19, to pre-register, print your file and make the corresponding payment.
He explained that from February 19 to March 24, regular students must enter the IEA website again to finalize their registration and answer the context questionnaire, while foreign applicants and laggards must do the same from 19 to 24 March. It should be noted that when taking the questionnaire, applicants must specify whether they wish to take a face-to-face exam or an online exam from home.
Both regular and foreign applicants and laggards who choose to present the evaluation in person, will be able to print their assignment of headquarters and shift from April 23 from www.iea.gob.mx.
He indicated that the application of EXANI II 2021 for regular students will take place on May 8, while for laggards and foreigners, the evaluation will be applied on May 9; in the morning shift, from 09:00 to 12:25 hours and in the afternoon, from 16:00 to 19:25, for both cases.
Similarly, Pérez López highlighted that regular applicants will be given their results from May 26, at the institution of origin, while lagging and foreign students will be able to consult the results from May 28 after 3:00 p.m. in www.iea.gob.mx.
He noted that the Exam guide will be available for download on the website www.iea.gob.mx, as of January 25 for regular students, while lagging and foreign applicants will be able to download said document as of February 20. Added that EXANI 20 2021, assesses competencies in mathematical thinking, analytical thinking, language structure, reading comprehension and English.
