Ten districts are on the first – green – level of alert in the protection of public health due to covid-19 and the rest of the Czech Republic is at zero. The ministry is due to publish a new traffic light on Friday.
“There will be at least three orange regions and there are significantly more districts that will advance to the first stage of readiness, ie the color green,” Rážová told ČT. On Wednesday, she said that most districts will move to a green level of risk on the disease map this week. An orange grade indicates an increasing proportion of cases of covid-19 for which the source of the infection is not clear. The green grade represents the occurrence of isolated cases of the disease or local epidemics.
