Income tax – what is it?
Tax income tax is an alternative to the current corporate taxation system. CIT is charged on the company’s income, i.e. income reduced by the costs of obtaining it. Tax revenue is collected directly from the total revenue, without the possibility of “writing off” the costs.
One of the supporters of the introduction of income tax is the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers. In the study “Taxation of Entrepreneurs” ZPP indicates that thanks to the wide possibilities of tax optimization, CIT only 38 percent pays in Poland. taxpayers.

Adam Abramowicz, spokesman for small and medium-sized enterprises, is also an advocate of the introduction of income tax.

As reported by PAP, Ministry of Finance did not want to reveal the structure of the income tax. The new public levy can be implemented in many different ways. ZPP proposes to introduce an income tax with a rate depending on the type of activity performed.
The rate could be from 1.5 percent. up to 15 percent in the case of people running a business, 0.49 percent. for banks and 1.49 percent for other companies with legal personality.
