The new 500 plus. This is how the government will reward union activists
There has been no such deduction so far. Now the relief is PLN 300 per year. The government, however, surprised the trade unions and wants to increase the deduction to PLN 500 per year, “Fakt” writes.

The proposal to increase this limit was made during public consultations. It was proposed by “Solidarity”.

It should be easier to document the right to benefit from trade union relief. “Trade unions will not have to provide proofs of payments made to the union’s account. It is enough to PIT-11, in which the employer shows the amount of contributions paid to trade unions” – we read.

The changes are to enter into force on July 1, but with retroactive effect from January 1, 2022.
