In the new Vagonu hall, in Vagonu street 21, Riga, on October 28, the group “Pizdets I Meyk the Heavy Metals” will host an event: a conference-concert “Learning in Latvian”, created in honor of the fact that one of the members of the group, a Scottish-Bulgarian pianist and composer Aleksandrs Tomas Mathewsons learned the Latvian language conversationally in two months.

As “Delphi” informs the organizers of the event, together with “Pizdets I Meyk the Heavy Metals”, instrumentalists Rinalds Maksimovs, Alise Golovacka and Ilvis Faulbaums will take the stage, as well as the vocal ensemble created especially for this event. After the concert, the party will continue with “Acrylics” from Scotland.
The event will take place in the form of a conference-concert, the songs will be played in Latvian, Bulgarian, German, French, English, Italian and Turkish. The language of the concert will be Latvian.
The ticket price is 10 euros. To help non-native speakers learn Latvian, the ticket price will be 5 euros certifying in Latvian at the entrance that the visitor’s nationality is not Latvian or Latvian.
