The online show, which was able to watch seven episodes on the social network “Facebook”, started on April 1 this year. Director Una Rozenbauma and producer, director Mārtiņš Mielavs in collaboration with choreographer Elīna Gediņa created a dance training video using Imants Kalniņš’s song “Festive Day”. Under the direction of Elīna Gediņa, various guests from the cultural industry – Toms Treinis, Marija Linarte, Reinis Sējāns, Roy Rogers, Berta Vilipsone, Baiba Broka, Jānis Kaupers – choreographed the song “Festive Day” together with Mārtiņš Mielavu von Strick in the villa in the post – Christmas morning.
On July 1, all staged dances will be available for everyone to dance together. Before the final dance there will be warm-ups and rehearsals.
The dance “Holiday” will be conducted by choreographer Elīna Gediņa and Mārtiņš Mielavs. The guests will include Olga Rajecka, Roy Rogers, Berta Vilipsone and others. “Dresscode: colorful burglars. You can come in a robe and slippers, or in very unusual costumes,” the organizers write.
The bustle of the day thieves has been created as a joyous initiative by director and creative director Una Rozenbauma and producer Mārtiņš Mielavs during the pandemic. Well we can all dance together in the garden of von Strick’s villa. Both those who have watched the episodes and danced with them, as well as those who will learn the dance steps for the first time.
Anyone who has completed a full course of vaccination or has contracted Covid-19 can apply and participate in the carnival. Certificates will be checked at the entrance. The number of places is limited, so an application form has been created here.
